We opened nagomi in 2012 in Düsseldorf, Germany and started from scratch with only passion and a little self-financing. With the support of many customers, we overcame year by year, including the period of the Corona pandemic, and reached the present day.
We offer authentic sushi based on more than 30 years of experience in sushi restaurants in Sapporo and abroad, as well as in our restaurant, which has been in business for 12 years. Through our focus on delicious á la carte dishes and thanks to our growing team, we are able to introduce Japanese food culture to Europeans, albeit in a small way. It is important to us not only to formulate ideals but also to put them into practice.
Our service places a lot of emphasis on being attentive as well as maintaining and cleaning the restaurant independently. Even though we are located in Europe, we create an atmosphere that can be enjoyed in Japan.
Today, the restaurant is used for a variety of occasions. From private gatherings with family and friends to corporate events.
12 years after opening, the restaurant has become a favorite with many customers, but we are still only halfway there. We will continue to strive daily, without false pride, to satisfy our customers for many more years to come.
